The spiritual importance of Sri Varahi Devi sameta Maha Pratyangira Devi Yagnasla is built at a sacred place where more than 150 yagnas by SivaSri Mulugu Mallikarjuna Rao Garu who has been awarded many honours like Vastu Brahma, Satayagya nirvahaka, Dharma rakshamani … He also worked as Endowments advisor during the time of combined Andhra Pradesh. For the past 40 years, the sanctity of this place has been increased day after day through many holy rituals, Homams, Yagnas and Annadanam to innumerable persons. The speciality of this yagnasala is that homams are conducted irrespective of gender. Doing homam here is believed to remove navagraha doshas and their malefic effects, problems caused by witchcraft and evil eye, problems related to land issues, eradication of known and unknown enemies, late marriage and marital issues, progeny and ill-health. During the Homam, different gods like Lakshmi Ganapathi, Kalabhairava, Bagalamukhi, maha pratyangira and Varahi Devi are invoked. Different homa dravyas like dry red chillies are used but the miracle is only emitted a pleasant odour. Homams are conducted daily: morning and evening. Devotees offer garlands made of lemon, and garlands made of dry red chillies to gain the grace of Sri Pratyangira Devi.
This Homams in this Yagnasala are carried according to the prescribed norms to give maximum benefit to devotees. Here Maa pratyangira can be seen with four hands carrying different weapons and a lion as her Vahna. She is worshipped along with Vinayaka, kalabhairva, and Sri chakra.
